I visited the Museum and Library of Confederate History in Greenville, SC yesterday. The facility is in a house in Greenville’s historic district. Although small in size, the museum is packed with exhibits. It holds an impressive array of firearms.
The location has a research library, and a gift shop where you can purchase, among many other items, The Honor of the State. There are also several docents on hand to answer questions or to show visitors around. They are older gentlemen who are very friendly and eager to share their knowledge of the Civil War.
It took me about an hour and a half to go through all the exhibits. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. I highly recommend a visit to the museum!
